About Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Disorders
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Disorders (OMDs) are disorders of the mouth, lips, jaw, and face that impede the normal growth process and development of the mouth, teeth, and facial structures. All of the muscles in our face and mouth serve a purpose. They allow us to eat, speak, smile, kiss and even breathe! Proper breathing is a necessary skill that we are passionate about. It allows us to have ideal growth and function, wide sinuses, which lead us to feeling our best!
